KidsHealth.org was founded in 1995 by Nemours pediatrician Neil Izenberg, MD. Since then, Nemours® KidsHealth® articles, videos, animations, print publications and health instructions have had billions of visits. KidsHealth.org is the most-viewed site for dependable information on children's health, behavior and development from before birth through the teen years.

Amy Wagner Anzilotti, MD

Amy Wagner Anzilotti, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician and medical editor at Nemours KidsHealth. Dr. Anzilotti writes and co-produces various multimedia patient education tools including articles, patient instruction handouts, blog posts, animations and illustrations.

Dr. Anzilotti received her behavioral neuroscience degree from Lehigh University, then did a brief stint in the media at C-SPAN. She attended Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, and did her pediatric residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT. From 2011-2015, she created and ran a website/blog, DrAmyKids.org and from 2004-2012 was co-owner, medical consultant, and blogger for www.BrandywineBuzz.com. She has been on staff at Nemours Children’s since 2004.

Larissa Hirsch, MD

Larissa Hirsch, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician and medical editor at Nemours KidsHealth. Dr. Hirsch helps to create the content on KidsHealth.org and ensure its medical accuracy. She also reviews and updates the information in patient instructions used during medical visits. For more than 10 years, Dr. Hirsch has helped create and review videos for KidsHealth and GetWellNetwork.

Dr. Hirsch received her BA from Brown University and her MD from SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine in New York. She completed her residency and chief residency in pediatrics at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Hirsch was selected from a national search to receive the Nemours Center for Children’s Health Media Fellowship, which she completed in June 2007.
