Get to Know Me
I love my job as a primary care pediatrician! After my fantastic and in-depth pediatric training at Nemours duPont Hospital, I decided to settle in the southeastern Pennsylvania area. I feel fortunate to be able to be involved in the entire scope of a patient’s medical care from birth through adolescence.
Why I Treat Children
I wanted to be a doctor since I was a child and my parents bought me an interactive systems of the body toy. However, I solidified my decision for pediatrics while volunteering with Special Olympics in college. I thoroughly enjoy spending my day taking care of children and adolescents and watching them grow and take on their own unique challenges along the way. My work days are always made brighter by their smiles, questions and jokes.
What I'm Passionate About
I'm passionate about forming long-term relationships with patients and their families. I strive to be their go-to resource for medical, behavioral and social concerns. It truly is a pleasure and privilege to partner with families through all stages of life. Outside of the office, I enjoy traveling and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.
How I Try to Make A Difference
I understand that coming to a doctor's office can be scary or unpleasant, so I strive to be understanding and approachable in order to make patients feel comfortable and cared-for. I ensure that I am listening to all concerns so that everyone leaves the visit with a comprehensive and agreed-upon plan of care.
