Get to Know Me

I was raised in Bahrain and Holland before moving to the U.S., and served in the Navy in Operation Desert Storm. I’ve always been interested in athletics. In school I ran cross-country, played soccer and tennis, and was a diver for the swim team. My wife is an Occupational Medicine physician, and our daughter is an occupational therapist.

Why I Treat Children

I enjoy working with children and spending time with my patients and families. I always wanted to go into medicine and became interested in pediatric orthopedics after working with a professor with cerebral palsy, who also inspired me to specialize in that condition.

What I'm Passionate About

I believe all children, regardless of financial means, should have the same opportunities for medical care when they need it. One of the reasons I joined Nemours is because it’s not-for-profit, and personal gain isn’t part of the equation.
