Family Resource Center

The Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware’s Family Resource Center and Ronald McDonald Family Room is an environment of rest and relaxation for families and caregivers. Located on the third floor of the duPont Pavillion, this is a space where families can regroup, grab a complimentary cup of coffee or snack, and check email, all while remaining close to where their child is being treated. Children must be supervised by an adult during their visit (child care is not provided).

Hours of Operation (subject to change without notice):

Monday: 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Thursday: 9 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Closed 5-5:30 p.m. daily for staff meals.

Napping is available Monday-Friday when the FRC is open and staffed by a volunteer/staff. Napping is eligible to Family Care Providers of an inpatient or a patient in the emergency room who is waiting to be admitted as an inpatient, or Caregivers of Surgical Services patients and PACU families. Napping is provided on a first-come-first-serve basis.
