Our Leadership: Cindy Bertrando

Cindy Bertrando joined the Nemours Foundation Board of Directors in 2024. She serves as the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Chief Financial Officer, leading the finance, technology, operations and legal functions. She brings to the board more than 30 years of experience transforming organizations and delivering superior results.

Cindy is part of the CEO Leadership team that develops and executes the strategic plan to change the world for people affected by MS. She leads the annual budget process and manages the Audit, Finance and Investment Committees of the National Board of Directors.

Previously, she served as a strategic financial leader at AstraZeneca, as Chief Financial Officer in Istanbul, Turkey and Chief Audit Executive in London. She was a partner at KPMG LLP and founding member of KPMG’s Network of Women, creating professional development opportunities for women.

Cindy is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University. She dedicates herself to philanthropic efforts, having chaired the Board for the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter of the National MS Society, served as Treasurer of the Delaware Museum of Natural History Board and volunteered for the Ronald McDonald House of Delaware.
