Get to Know Me

I was born and raised in Wisconsin. Growing up, I was athletic, studious, and inquisitive. I’ve always been fascinated with anatomy. My own medical experiences with sports injuries and the physicians who cared for me were instrumental in helping me choose my career.

Why I Treat Children

I love caring for children. They have so much energy and an incredible ability to adapt and recover. They are honest – sometimes brutally, sometimes hilariously. At times, it’s like a double-edged sword – there is great joy and deep pain. But the parents and patients inspire me and keep me going.

What I'm Passionate About

I’m passionate about innovation, particularly within my specialty – pediatric interventional radiology – which provides new and better therapies for kids. I’m also passionate about ensuring that the disadvantaged pediatric population has the opportunity to receive the best possible healthcare as everyone else.

How I Try to Make A Difference

Taking the time to be in the moment and see each patient from the view of the family, both medically and socially.
