Get to Know Me

In the 1970s, I was a nuclear engineering student at University of Michigan and then worked on professional staff on the U.S. Senate Environment Subcommittee. It wasn’t until 1975 that I decided a career in medicine would fulfill my desire to use scientific information to solve problems to truly help people.

Why I Treat Children

I thoroughly enjoy children – even the tough ones are loveable. It’s easy to connect with kids, and give them my full attention.

What I'm Passionate About

Helping a child get well is what I’m passionate about. It may sound corny, but when I look into the eyes of a child I see beyond the disease, to the child's soul.

How I Try to Make A Difference

For me, we have two sets of patients – the child and the family. It’s my goal to be helpful to both.
