I come from a family of doctors who strongly believe in giving back to the community. They taught me very early on how rewarding it is to be a physician. I always aspired to become a pediatrician. Treating children is such an exciting and challenging field.
Why I Treat Children
Endocrine conditions are chronic and many are lifelong. It gives me immense satisfaction to take care of children, see them get better and watch them grow up to be healthy adults.
What I'm Passionate About
I am passionate about providing the best care to my patients. They are my priority, and so are their families. The family-centered approach at Nemours means that I can take time to really listen to parents’ concerns and explain their child’s medical condition carefully. It makes a difference to them, and is more satisfying for me as well.
How I Try to Make A Difference
I try to make a difference by keeping myself current on the latest research and treatment options for endocrine conditions. In this way, I live up to my responsibility to provide the best care to my patients.
