Get to Know Me

I began working at Nemours Children’s Hospital in July 2016 after completing my fellowship training at Nemours/duPont Hospital for Children in Delaware. I was excited to continue on with Nemours because I am proud to be a physician in an environment where we uphold the standards that your children are our No. 1 priority.

Why I Treat Children

I’ve always wanted to be a pediatrician. When I was five years old I remember telling my very own pediatrician, “One day, I’ll grow up and work at your office!” I chose gastroenterology because it’s a dynamic field where I get to work with kids of all ages in many different care settings including inpatient, outpatient and procedure.    I stand true with the “Your child, our promise” motto. I am excited to share the Nemours commitment to patient-centered care — medicine, which allows me to make a real difference in a family’s life.

What I'm Passionate About

Every child has a right to play, eat and learn, and I believe it’s my duty to create a better world for kids to succeed. My passion is helping families build a healthy, peaceful environment for children to live symptom-free and achieve their highest potential.   I also enjoy giving lectures and providing mentorship to the physicians of tomorrow.

How I Try to Make A Difference

Medicine allows me to make a real difference in a family’s life, which is why I stay up-to-date with the latest treatments and research. I have always been intrigued by new developments in medicine that create new hope for a child. I listen to my patients and parents and I’m always here to offer reassurance and a reason to smile — because kids deserve it.
