Get to Know Me
I always wanted to be a pediatrician because I love caring for children, especially babies. I also enjoy talking to families and helping them. Every office visit is an opportunity to improve a child’s health. Whether a child has eczema and I can stop the itch, or it’s a routine well-child check, I’m here to help kids.
Why I Treat Children
I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of people because I was part of a military family. I’ve practiced medicine around the world, which has shown me many perspectives. I’m happy to return to Central Florida so I can take part in helping the kids and babies I care for as they reach every milestone.
What I'm Passionate About
I have a special interest in treating the chronic conditions that can get in the way of a child enjoying an active, happy childhood. For example, when I help families get their child’s asthma under control, I know I’m not just helping that child breath more easily, I’m also helping the child and family lead an active lifestyle that contributes to lifelong health. When I’m not at work, I enjoy cooking, playing with my children at the park, Zumba, and traveling with my kids and my husband.
How I Try to Make A Difference
Parent education is an important part of my job. I’m a mom with two small children, so I understand the challenges of juggling work and parenthood.
