Why I Treat Children
After I completed my undergraduate degree at Penn State University, I worked in a special education classroom at an elementary school before pursuing my graduate degree. I loved the creativity and energy that filled the hallways of that school. I find great reward in identifying ways to help students use their strengths and regulate their emotions, and I adjust my approach based on their learning differences.
What I'm Passionate About
I’m passionate about building a connection with your child and your family so that you can feel comfortable throughout the neuropsychological evaluation process. I also feel strongly about collaborating with families and making your voices feel heard. As a parent or caregiver, you know your child best and it is important for me to hear your perspective.
My goal is to help support all your child’s wonderful strengths while also helping you understand their areas of need. What sorts of extra supports do they need to be successful? How might they comprehend, communicate or remember information differently than their peers? By gathering information from a variety of sources, together we gain a more comprehensive view of your unique child and help create a plan to help improve outcomes.
Beyond neuropsychology, I enjoy reading, baking and creating fun crafts and games for my own little ones. I also love Philadelphia sports teams!
