Get to Know Me
LeeAnn Webb, CRNP has a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of Pennsylvania, and is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CRNP-P) by the National Certification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Nurses, a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Mental Health for Primary Care by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB), and a Certified Asthma Educator.
Why I Treat Children
I have always enjoyed working with children and families. If I didn’t become a pediatric nurse, I think I would have been a kindergarten teacher instead! I have two children of my own and since their birth I have found that I am much more empathetic to parents/ family concerns as well. I love working with kids and am in awe of their resilience and I constantly try to impress on others that they are not just little adults. They are unique and fun, and I have enjoyed taking care of them for more than two decades.
What I'm Passionate About
I am passionate about children’s mental health and managing the care of kids with asthma. Coming from a private practice to an institution, I enjoy the constant quality improvement and look for ways to help better the team.
How I Try to Make A Difference
After experiencing a huge increase in depression and anxiety in our children, I chose to go on and get further certification in primary care mental health so that I can act as a bridge to mental health services and not lose site of these troubled kids.
