Get to Know Me
I always knew I wanted to work in child psychology. I’m especially interested in childhood development and how physical illness impacts emotional functioning, and how it affects families. I enjoy getting to know my patients and families, and helping them not only to get through difficult times, but enjoy life at their fullest potential.
Why I Treat Children
Working with children is fulfilling and satisfying, because they have so much potential. A lot of my work involves identifying autism early because treating a child at age two or three can make a huge difference in their future functioning.I am a problem-solver, and enjoy helping families understand a diagnosis and address the issues together. I try to connect my patients with services and therapies that give them the best chance for success.
How I Try to Make A Difference
I’m very passionate about ending human trafficking. I founded a nonprofit that raises money to support efforts in Orlando and have traveled to Thailand and Cambodia on missions to address issues of poverty and human trafficking.
