Why I Treat Children
I’ve always known that I wanted to be a doctor, and I have always enjoyed working with children, so pediatrics was an easy choice when I was choosing a specialty during medical school. I love helping families through all stages of childhood, from newborns to adolescence so general pediatrics is a great fit.
What I'm Passionate About
I love getting to know families and taking care of patients longitudinally. There are unique challenges during each stage of childhood, from the newborn stage all the way through adolescence, and it is a privilege to guide families through each different stage of life.
How I Try to Make A Difference
I love teaching children and their parents about health, and helping them to build habits and make choices to set them up for a healthier future. As pediatricians, I believe we are also in a unique position to serve as advocates for children’s health on a more global scale as well.
