Get to Know Me
I am a board-certified general pediatrician and a mom to three children, including twins! I grew up in Pennsylvania and live with my family in the Philly suburbs. I love spending time with family, going to the shore, reading and traveling to new places.
Why I Treat Children
I am deeply privileged to care for children and their families. I love meeting parents of newborns and helping them embark on the exciting, yet challenging journey of parenthood. Every stage of childhood and adolescence is unique, and my goal is to help your child navigate each phase successfully. As a parent for more than 18 years, I’ve learned so much from my own parenting experiences and hope to pass that on to families.
What I'm Passionate About
I’m extremely passionate about the importance of reading and books in your child’s life! I love to read and have been a site director for the Reach Out and Read Program that aims to provide every child with a library of books in the early childhood years. Reading to your child as early as the newborn period has so many positive benefits for his or her developmental trajectory. I love to talk to kids of all ages about reading, and I hope to encourage your child to love books as much as I do! I also have a special interest in caring for multiples, as I am a mother of twins who were premature and spent time in the NICU. I understand the challenges of caring for multiple babies during infancy and early childhood, and I look forward to partnering with you and offering guidance and support along the way.
How I Try to Make A Difference
I love seeing pediatric patients from birth to young adulthood and following their growth and development over time. I want the pediatrician’s office to be a safe and happy place for your child. I’m a huge advocate for childhood vaccines and am here to answer all questions that may arise. For many years, I’ve also been involved in medical student education and hope to inspire more students to pursue pediatrics as a profession!
