About Your Visit
Referrals: We may be able to see your child without a referral based on your health insurance plan. Please ask when you call for your appointment.
Legal Guardian: A child must be accompanied by a legal guardian or someone authorized by the legal guardian.
Arrival Time: Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment so we have plenty of time to register your child in our system.
We Make Care Easy With the Nemours App
We created the Nemours app to help you easily manage your child’s main condition or concern, as well manage other aspects of your child’s health care. The app is interactive, so it quickly assesses how your child is doing, and tells you what steps you should take. It also lets you communicate with your care team, track appointments and symptoms, access your child’s medical records, and launch video doctor visits on demand.

Nemours now offers scheduled pediatric specialist appointments through live video visit. Ask your doctor if this is an option for your family.
Board-certified pediatric specialists from Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware in Wilmington, Del., come to our Nemours Children's Health, Abington location to give you convenient access to our award-winning pediatric specialty care. Here, children from newborns to age 18 can receive specialty care consultations and follow-up care.
