Randomized, Double Blind, Placebo Controlled, Multicenter Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Givinostat in Ambulant Patients With Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

What is the trial about?

The purpose of this study is to find out if this new drug can slow progression of DMD.

Who can participate?

Boys 6 years old or older with DMD who can walk.

What is involved?

16 visits to Nemours Children’s Hospital, Florida over 18 months. Procedures and tests to be done include physical exam, ECG, echo, blood and urine samples, various muscle tests and questions about your medical history.
