Nemours pediatric specialists are available around-the-clock at Jefferson Abington Hospital for:
- Pediatric unit care — A team of Nemours hospitalists (board-certified pediatricians who are experts in treating hospitalized infants, children and adolescents) provide pediatric care in the hospital’s inpatient pediatric unit in collaboration with Jefferson Health nurses and support staff.
- Emergency Department (ED) care — Our pediatric specialists provide consultations for children and teens in the hospital’s ED, as needed. That means Jefferson Health's physicians work with our pediatric specialists in order to give children the best possible care from doctors who treat kids every day.

You may be billed separately by the hospital and by Nemours (for services provided by a Nemours provider during your child's visit.)
