Avocado Mousse
This avocado mousse is a no-bake dessert that is rich and decadent. It is really easy to whip together. It’s silky creamy and healthy and made in no time at all. It's so chocolatey, you can't even taste the avocado.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder (unsweetened)
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1/4 cup milk (dairy or nondairy)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh into a blender or food processor.
- Add cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, milk, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt to the blender.
- Blend the mixture until it forms a smooth and creamy consistency. Scrape down the sides of the blender or food processor as needed to ensure everything is well combined.
- For a firmer texture, you can chill the mousse in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to 1 hour before serving.
